Some of the projects we have done. How did they happen?

Case Study #1: Oakwood Specialist Training Ltd

Company Website

Project: Design & Production of Exhibition Flag

Oakwood Specialist Training Ltd Concept Design Oakwood Specialist Training Finished Flag

The initial brief was for an upright tall exhibition flag to be designed for a show the company are doing in August 2010.

We incorporated the company's theme that has been consistent across their other media we have designed. Their website, flyers, posters and promotional video have the same style across it.

After a couple of revisions of the concept design we sent the design up to our flag manufacturers to be produced. Resolution was a key importance within the design, as low resolution images or graphics would result in a pixelated product.

As you can see from the concept image and the final product image we had to remove the City and Guilds Logo for resolution reasons.

The final product was a double sided flag.

Case Study #2: UK Amp Spares

Company Website

Project: Design & Build of UK Amp Spares online shop. Controlled via Content Management System. Ingegrating Twitter & Facebook driven pages.

UK Amp Spares

One of the largest projects that we've taken on. The original brief was for an online store capable of storing and displaying up to a thousand products all with individual SKU's, prices and landing pages. A product search facility and online payment processing.

The whole site would be driven from a backend database and controlled via a Content Management System simple enough for UK Amp Spares employees to update and edit products and information.

For this project we chose to use the Open Source CMS "Joomla". We had tested many other Management Systems on the open market and found Joomla to be the best for what we needed.

In addition to Joomla we installed the bolt-on shop component "VirtueMart", this enabled us to be able to populate and control the website with UK Amp Spares' vast array of products

After designing and building the front end of the site we set about filling the site with the products and working along side UK Amp Spares, worked out the many Shipping Rates and Prices required for International Shipping. Trust us... it's not simple.

In conclusion we are very pleased with the outcome of the website and expect a very successful first few months due to the sites anticipation amongst previous customers of the company.
